Dive information: A very impressive dive, and possibly one of the largest on the Sussex coast.   The wreck is Lying at a 45 degree angle on her port side, with the bow pointing to the east, sitting 12m proud The mid section is badly broken up but still a very impressive site. 
Other comments: The  13,405 ton Cunard Liner went down after hitting a mine on 19th October 1916, 2 of her crew died in the explosion. . This is a big wreck and would take several dives to see the whole ship.

Other comments: The Basil went down on November 11th 1917 after colliding with another vessel, killing 13 of her crew. She was heading for France with a cargo of brass shells

Dive information: Not much of a dive this one, no superstructure, and nothing to see.  You could swim around this wreck on a single breath.  Twice.  This would make a good zero viz dive, you wouldn't  be missing anything.  If you got lost on this wreck, well, lets just say maybe you should stick to diving in your bath tub.  Better still, use the shower, its only two dimensional.

MOLDAVIA

Dive information: Probably one of the best wreck dive ion the Sussex coast, lying  on her port side with the top of the wreck in about 35m. She is largely intact with a break amidships where the torpedo probably hit. Visibility is often in the 20m region, but the depth makes this a dive for the very experienced only, lives have been lost on this wreck, so be careful.
Other comments:  The Moldavia was a P&O liner, and another victim of UB-57 when she went down on 23rd May 1918 with the loss of 57 lives. The Moldavia is a long way out at 25 miles out from Littlehampton, taking a 3 hour boat trip to get to site.

Dive information: Today she lies North-South and sits relatively  upright with her holds open. The highest point is the stern, standing some 8m proud.
Other comments: This fairly large wreck is well dived by divers along the south coast, she was another victim of UB-57 when she went down on July 2nd 1918 with he loss of eight lives.
